“Long Beach Heritage offers a unique opportunity to learn about the history and restoration/preservation of one of Long Beach’s greatest historic homes and gardens on Sunday April 10th, 2016 from 1-4pm. The event will feature Ted Wells, the owner, speaking on the preservation of the property, and an associate chronicling the history of the prior home owners. A guided tour will follow.”The home was built in 1904 and promises to showcase some wonderful examples of early-1900's architecture. The home is also a National Historic Landmark. The tour is certain to be of interest not only to history buffs, but also to current homeowners who may be looking for unique design features they can bring into their own homes.
