Bixby Plaza client installation prep list

Prior to Installation:

• Remove all small or loose items from the rooms, including lamps, pictures, books, and items on top of dressers and tables.
   
• Empty out all items from storage furniture such as bookcases, china cabinets, chests, and coffee tables. We will move the furniture pieces themselves, but not their contents.
   
• Ensure all loose items are removed from the prepped rooms and any fragile, sentimental/ special pieces or items of unusual monetary value are packed away in a safe place prior to installation.
   
• Unplug and disconnect all electronic equipment, including computers, printers, televisions, and DVD players. We can move the components, but we are unable to disconnect or reconnect them.
   
• Remove all linens and loose pillows from beds.
   
• While closets do not need to be completely emptied, please ensure there is approximately 4 feet of clear space from the floor up. All shoes, clothes, and loose items on the floor should be removed.
   
• You may consider removing draperies during the installation process to avoid dust.
   
• Remove any Glade/Airwick plug-ins from all installation areas.
   
• Please note that we do not move grand pianos, pool tables, or grandfather clocks.
   
• If your refrigerator needs to be moved for the installation, please have as few items as possible inside it on the day of the install.
   

*** We kindly request that all pets (dogs, cats, etc.) be secured or kept in a separate area of the home during the installation. Due to the nature of this work, our installation team will be moving in and out of your home frequently, and we want to ensure the safety and security of your fur babies at all times.
 
Important Considerations: Occasionally, doors or baseboards may need adjustment due to height changes from your new flooring. This is outside our job scope and will need to be handled independently of Bixby Plaza Carpets & Flooring.
